Frank & Beans Please!

Screen Shot 2016-06-21 at 06.43.40

The start of the weekend and our Friday release took us on a post school trip to the most delicious gelateria, Frank & Beans in Lyme Regis. Excitement all round at the impending glacial hit and we even managed to lure hard toiling J away from his screen to join us for our treat and a stroll along the seafront. Quite the ‘Little England’ 1952 picturesque scene. Read more

The Writing Room, Lyme Regis

One thing that feeds my soul is writing, and writing away from the screen it must be. It counteracts the never ending demands that glowing machine makes and the slighty ‘hazy’ and to be honest a little bit mucky feeling I get from overuse. Over Christmas popped into the splendid Sladers Yard, always full of interesting artists and such a great cafe (best cakes in town) which is open come rain or shine. In the gallery we fell upon a festive display of the stunning textiles of Wallace and Sewell. Read more

Jurassic Dreams

I seem to be on a theme of illustrative art and so it feels fit to mention the lovely animator and illustrator, Keith Robinson; his work is now selling online at Folksy as a collective; Jurassic Dreams.

Being an owner of a selection of fowl, I especially love the Chickens print, its most amusing..am thinking Christmas gifts to my fellow chicken keeping friends. So rural I am.
